Thom the World Poet - 'Such a Nuisance'

Such a Nuisance

vaporised parts of young bodies
started turning up still talking
particularly about the manner
of their leaving their flesh
one young one said he was a Kurd
another-a Persian mystic
who simply forgot to breathe
or get a well paying job
in the police force
or the occupying forces
no matter how much they bribed
no one liked these new gods
they sweated with unease
and did not have a sense of humor
so the dead decided to witness
every act of personal barbarism
amongst themselves-in their own language
and that is why these days-so much
is lost-in translation...
