We Are In This Movie

and sometimes we forget
that the cameras are watching at all times
that someone always wants to play DIRECTOR
that we may have only bit parts
that we may end up on the cutting room floor
and we argue about the script
(so leaden - so dull!)
that someone always wants to STAR
that there will be quarreling over billing
that the movie may never be seen
that even when watched, we will be forgotten
that some people do not watch movies
that some object to our content(ment)
that we are in a marketplace
that no movie will save us
that despite all, we still watch -
that film is a metaphor
that our lives are not.
SHOOT!
