Jacob Gray - 'Last Thought'

Last Thought

Wind streaks behind me,
singing like crickets and the buzz of light;
streaking, rushing from the lung's aging thought.

Last songs among the crickets and the hum of electricity -
a bad taste is the lung's final thought;
covering, subduing.

Then ignorance comes,
and I am here.
